Our afternoon teas feature a selection of delicate sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of homemade cakes, all served on vintage china for that quintessentially British experience.
Each cake is lovingly crafted by our talented owner and baker, Kate, and everything is made to order for your table. That is why we ask you to book afternoon tea at least 36 hours ahead.

How it works
Three easy steps
Tell us how many guests and pick a date and time, at least 36 hours ahead. Your table is yours for 90 minutes.
Let us know how many of each you would like. Not everyone at the table has to have afternoon tea.
Afternoon tea is paid for in advance, so Kate bakes especially for your table. Tell us about any allergies when you book.

Your questions
How much is afternoon tea?
Afternoon tea is £22.50 per guest, sweet or savoury, and includes unlimited house tea or one of any other hot drink.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Please book afternoon tea at least 36 hours ahead. Everything is made to order, so we need the notice to prepare for your table. Our last booking of the day is at 2pm.
Does everyone at the table have to have afternoon tea?
No. Choose how many afternoon teas you would like when you book, and anyone else can order from the menu on the day.
Can you cater for allergies and dietary needs?
Savoury afternoon tea is available as regular or vegetarian only. We are sorry, but we cannot offer gluten-free, vegan or other versions. Please tell us about any allergies when you book, or add them afterwards using the link in your confirmation email, and we will let the kitchen know.
We are a party of seven or more. Can we book?
Yes. Larger groups and private hire are arranged with us directly. Send a group enquiry and we will be in touch.
How long do we have the table?
Tables are yours for 90 minutes. If you are running late, we hold your table for 15 minutes.
What if I need to cancel or change my afternoon tea?
Cancel 48 hours or more before your booking and we will refund you in full. After that your afternoon tea cannot be refunded or moved to another date, because your food is made to order. To cancel, use the link in your confirmation email. Full details are in our booking terms.
